This is a new series of dustproof and waterproof connectors that are smarter, more dustproof and waterproof than the conventional UTG series, and offer a wider lineup. It features the same design as the full plastic dustproof and waterproof UTS series, but with a metal coupling part. This enhances durability and increases the mating and unmating cycles. Additionally, it is the first in the dustproof and waterproof connector family to adopt an IK grade (impact protection grade). The industrial standard contacts RC, RCS/RM contacts can be used interchangeably with other series, so there is no need to purchase new dedicated contacts or crimping tools specifically for this series.
